These are really useful! There are fifteen different specimens in a tray box.
Each specimen is a good size, about an inch to an inch and a half in diameter and each is
labeled with an identification number that corresponds to the enclosed identification key.
Data sheets provide an abundance of useful information, designed to help you learn to
identify rocks. Spend about an hour with each tray, comparing the samples with the data,
then compare one type of rock against another. You'll quickly and easily gain a good basic
understanding of rock identification. Highly recommended. Three different
