Vibrating Rock Tumblers are much faster than rotary tumblers, making
them a favorite for industrial applications. Both models vibrate
at 3,000 vibrations per minute. This action when combined with the
unique bowl shape causes the mass (the loaded material) to create a
double action cyclonic effect. The mass moves down in the
center and up the sides while simultaneously moving it around the
bowl. Both tumblers have a removable heady duty polyethylene
bowl with lid, use ball bearing motors that operates on 115 volts, are
thermally protected and draw 1.6 amps. The differences
between them are noted below.
