Acrocanthosaurus
Spinosaurus was the largest, but not the only sail-backed dinosaurs.  Acrocanthosaurus  had a much smaller and lower sail.   It's name means "top-spine lizard" .  Closely related to Allosaurus, it lived in the early Cretaceous..  Fossils have been found in Oklahoma and Texas.  Unrelated sail-back dinosaurs have also been found in North Africa.  Acrocanthosaurus was 39 Feet long.  Replica is 7.5" long.

Allosaurus
Allosaurus "Other Lizard" was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs before the appearance of the Tyrannosaurus some fifty million years later.  Allosaurus had immense expandable jaws and long curved saw-edged teeth.  Some believe that they hunted in packs - their prey being the large sauropods.  Lived 156-130 million years ago. Fossils  have been found in the United States, Africa and Australia.  The replica is 9.5" long.

Baryonx
Baryonx takes its name "heavy claw" from its murderously large and hook-like thumb claws.  The chance 1983 find of a thumb claw led to the discovery of the only known skeleton of this strange dinosaur.  It also had a long, narrow, crocodile-like jaws fill with sharp teeth and strong arms.  Replica is 9" long.

Dilophosaurus Deltadromeus Agilis
Dilophosaurus - set of 2
These have been nicknamed "the terror of the Early Jurassic."  The name means "two-ridge lizard" because of the two parallel bony ridges that jut out from its head.  It had long, agile legs and clawed feet.  It sharp claws were used to make short clean kills, as a long struggle could have put this comparatively fragile Theropod at risk.  They often hunted in groups.  Set of two replicas.  Each is 4" long.

No. LRP14-D2.  Only $8.95
Deltadromeus
A partial skeleton, without skull, was discovered in Africa in 1995.  Adult size may have been close to that of Tyrannosaurus.  Unusual because it had the heavy jaws of the big Theropods and the lethal claws of the smaller ones. Its long legs must have resulted in great speed.  Thus its name, "Delta Runner."  Lived 98 million years ago. Replica is 5" long.
