Blue Shark
Blue Sharks have long and slender bodies and pointed snouts
which allow them to quickly and easily speed through the water.
They are one of the fastest sharks and reach speeds of 40 miles per hour.
They travel all over the world, sometimes as many as 2,500 miles per year.
They prefer cooler water, so when in the hot tropics, they usually stay at
great depth, where it is cooler. When Hungry, the blue shark will
find a large group of fish and speed through them with his mouth wide
open, getting in as many as he can, all at once.
